Help - Buffalo at NE or Philly at Houston week 1 - which is more of a lock????

Buffalo at NE is a mortal lock. The Pats are in Super Bowl form again this year, and are hitting hard right out of the gate. They've improved opn both sides of the ball.

It will take a team that can expliot their lack of WR's to beat them, and Buffalo is not that team. Buffalo will win when they play someone who can't stop the inside runs. The Pats are not that team. With Bruschi expected back, and Seau plaing ILB on running downs, they're going to be fine.

Philly is also a lock, but they're starting out on the road against a team with a new HC looking to establish something. If Houston has anything at all, they'll throw it at Philly. Kubiak may be enough of an offensive coach to move the ball against Philly. McNabb still has to prove he's healthy after finishing last year on IR.

So you're okay (in my opinion) either way, but if my mortgage was on the line I'd go with the Pats.

Sounds good - New England it is for week 1 (let's see if I can last past week 1 this year in the suicide pool)

The results from the fantasy draft on Saturday - traditional league, QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, D, TE, K. QBs don't score many points with their system. #10 pick in the draft:
Lamont Jordan (not a huge fan, but he was the best on the board)
Chad Johnson
Kevin Jones (one of the few remaining workhorse backs, maybe Martz turns him into Marshall Jr.)
Chester Taylor (took some heat for picking 3rd RB at this point - why not, plenty of WRs to be had later)
Joe Horn
Marc Bulger
Cedric Benson
Jake Plummer
David Givens
Ben Watson (steal of the draft)
Antonio Bryant
John Kasay
Seahawks
Samkon Gado

Overall a decent draft, I hate Lamont Jordan but it was either him or an injured Portis. Plenty of receivers available, especially with the short bench, so more teams should have picked RBs early. I also get a weak division so I have a decent shot at the playoffs - championship brings in close to $1,500 I think - go Gado!!
